Australian-Chinese tenor Kang Wang is one of the most sought-after young lyric tenors in Australia. He is a former member of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the Metropolitan Opera and a finalist in the 2017 Cardiff Singer of the World competition.

For An Aria A Day he performs ‘Pour mon âme’ from ‘La fille du régiment’ (‘The Daughter of the Regiment’), Donizetti’s first opera set to a French text.

Kang is joined on piano by John Woods, who has worked with many other fine singers including Dame Joan Sutherland, Dame Janet Baker, Dame Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Sir Peter Pears and Luigi Alva.
