‘Wandering Hearts’
by Elena Kats-Chernin
Piano Vladimir Fanshil

16th October, 2020

Australian-born, Vienna-based soprano Eleanor Lyons performs ‘Wandering Hearts’ by Elena Kats-Chernin, an original work composed for Eleanor and her husband, conductor Vladimir Fanshil, during lockdown.

This performance was recorded when Eleanor and Vladimir hosted an intimate performance at home, and now we are lucky to share it with audiences across the globe.

Eleanor is a winner of various prizes and competitions including the 9th International Obraztsova Competition, the 2018 Vienna State Opera Award from the Australian Opera Foundation for Young Singers, 2015 Competizione dell’Opera and the 2010 Australian Singing Competition.
