Biography

Harold is a proud Torres Strait Islander man from the Samu Clan from Saibai Island raised in the remote community of Bamaga in Far North Queensland who belongs to the South-East trade wind Zei and the constellation Tegai also known as the Southern Cross. He is a humble, gracious and gifted Storyteller who is a self taught instrumentalist in Bassist, Guitarist and Drummer as well as Actor, Writer, Lyricist, Composer, Producer and Musician. Currently completing his Diploma of the Performing Arts at the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) Harold is building his skills as a thoughtful and purpose driven Arts Practitioner that is inspired by his family, culture and faith. Harold has performed alongside Bangarra Dance Company for Indigenous Round Broncos vs Titans at Suncorp Stadium and performed for the Matilda Team along the mighty “Maiwar” Brisbane River. Harold aims is to showcase his culture and be an example to future generations as well as to uphold the legacy of his Elders and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities across Australia.
