After the extraordinary impact of Covid-19 on the world and our 2020 and 2021 seasons, the safety of our audience, artists and staff remain our priority.

Connecting safely

To allow us to share the joy of opera with you safely, we will continue to follow Covid Safe Plans for all performance at all venues. We will communicate with patrons as we approach performance dates to advise the current Covid Safe protocols.

Refunds if you cannot attend

If you or any members of your booking party are unwell with Covid-19 symptoms or have been diagnosed with Covid-19, please do not attend the performance. Similarly, if you or a member of your household have been in close contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19, please do not attend the performance. In these cases, a full refund or transfer is available for your ticket.

Cancelled performances

In the event a performance is cancelled due to Covid-19, or any other reason, patrons will receive a full refund. Book now to secure the best seats without the financial risk of cancelled shows.

Contact tracing

Opera Queensland and QTIX will collect details of all patrons attending performances or events in order to assist Queensland Health with contact tracing if required.

Venues and hygiene

Amenities will be cleaned regularly, seats and high frequency touch points will be disinfected, and sanitiser will be available at multiple points throughout the venue.

Covid safety is a shared responsibility

The safety of our patrons, staff and artists is our top priority. Patrons must wear a mask when entering or exiting the venue, and when moving around the theatre and foyer when it is not possible to maintain physical distancing.
