Craig Wilkinson APDG is an award-winning video designer for live performance and Creative Director of optikal bloc.

Craig’s selected video design credits include: The Drover’s Wife (Opera Australia, QPAC and Oombarra Productions); Strong Is The New Pretty, Dracula (Sydney Theatre Company and remounted on the West End in 2026 starring Cynthia Erivo); Boy Swallows Universe, Love Stories (Queensland Theatre Company, Brisbane Festival, QPAC); Round the Twist: The Musical (QTC, QPAC); Frankenstein, James And The Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr Fox, 1984 (Shake & Stir Theatre Co, QPAC), Grief Is the Thing with Feathers (Belvoir St Theatre), Illume (Bangarra Dance Theatre); Flora (Bangarra Dance Theatre, The Australian Ballet); The Sapphires, Dear Son, First Casualty & The Mountain Top (QTC) and Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show (Circa / Aardman Animations)

Craig has received four Australian Production Design Guild Awards for Video Design, five Matilda Awards for Video Design, a Gold Matilda for Body of Work and a Sydney Theatre Award for Dracula.

Craig is an accredited member of the Australian Production Design Guild and has lectured in Live Performance Video Design at Queensland University of Technology since 2015.
