What is love? What is fidelity?

Love and fidelity are tested to their limit in Mozart and Da Ponte’s timeless comic opera, Così fan tutte.

Be swept away to the Mediterranean seaside, where young officers Ferrando and Guglielmo are deeply in love with sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella. However, their faith is put to the test when the cynical Don Alfonso challenges the women’s fidelity and proposes a bet.

As passions ignite and desire pushes the lovers to forbidden territory, a hilarious charade unfolds, with one question remaining: Whose heart will remain steadfast in the face of temptation?

The third in the Mozart — Da Ponte trilogy, Così fan tutte featured a cast of exceptional Australian singers, directed by Patrick Nolan with Greek Maestra Zoe Zeniodi leading the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Building on the success of 2021’s The Marriage of Figaro, described as an ‘outstanding illustration of the joys of 18th century opera transported into the 21st’, this version of Così fan tutte will again reveal just how modern Mozart is.
