Kate Yaxley

Biography

Kate Yaxley is a Melbourne-based performer and graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, where she completed a Bachelor of Musical Theatre.

Kate currently appears in the Australian production of Wicked (Crossroads Live) as a member of the ensemble and understudy for Madame Morrible. Previous musical theatre credits include Groundhog Day (GWB Entertainment), covering Rita and Nancy, The Sunshine Club (Queensland Theatre) as Patti Maguire, Sweet Charity, The Mystery of the Valkyrie, and A Very Naughty Christmas.

Her theatre credits also include the title role in The Gruffalo’s Child, Animal Farm, Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts, Fancy Long Legs, touring productions with Shake & Stir Theatre Company, and appearances at the Melbourne Cabaret Festival.

Screen credits include ABC’s White Fever, and she has also worked as a digital presenter for the Australian Open.
