Bev Kennedy

Biography

Bev Kennedy is generally regarded as one of the country’s finest musicians, having worked on over 50 professional music theatre productions. 

Some of the shows Bev has worked on include The Lion King, Mamma Mia, We Will Rock you, Evita and Jersey Boys. Career highlights include playing for the Pope during the World Youth Day celebrations in 2008, and also the memorial for Kerry Packer, both events were broadcast live internationally. 

Bev has played for several Grammy award winning acts including a National tour with English dance band Basement Jaxx, Opera Greats Jose Carreras and Sir Bryn Terfel, and Music theatre star Liz Calloway.  Bev continues to work as an accompanist at Sydney Conservatorium and as a consultant for the Talent Development Project. She is also principal pianist for the Inner West’s own TMO, The Metropolitan Orchestra.  

Bev is passionate about the future generations of music theatre performers, and is thrilled to be working with the Teatro team on The Prom!
