Tom Oliver

Biography
Tom Oliver is an award-winning performer and producer from Brisbane working in theatre, music and live events. As a performer, Tom has appeared in leading roles across every Australian state and internationally throughout New Zealand, the USA, Germany, Asia, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
Tom’s stage credits include Velvet, the Show, opposite Marcia Hines AM and Ingrid Arthur, Weather Girls, Shake & Stir Theatre Co’s FOURTEEN, Into The Woods, Rent: The Musical, A Midnight Visit, Christmas Actually, and starring as Johnny in Rolling Thunder Vietnam, backed by the John Farnham Band. Tom was also selected for Team Kylie Minogue on The Voice Australia and later joined the Marcia Hines Band on backing vocals.
Alongside his performing career, Tom is the Founder and CEO/Artistic Director of Wynnum Fringe Festival and Queensland Fringe, and owns the 320-seat Augathella Spiegeltent. His producing credits include the Australian premiere of Elf: The Musical at the Sydney Opera House, the international season of Velvet in Hamburg’s Hansa Theater, Rolling Thunder Vietnam, and touring productions with Rhonda Burchmore AM and UK award-winning storytellers Wright & Grainger.
Tom is a recipient of the prestigious Gold Matilda Award and was named in Queensland’s 40 Under 40.
