Experience a delightful evening of classical music presented by Opera Queensland, joined by the world-renowned countertenor Andreas Scholl and chamber group Ensemble Q at City Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Andreas Scholl, celebrated for his exquisite countertenor voice, will transport you through the rich and emotive styles of Baroque music. For one evening only, enjoy compositions of J.S. Bach, such as Cantata BWV 54 and BWV 170, to lyrical and expressive works of Antonio Vivaldi and Henry Purcell’s famous “Dido’s Lament,” each piece showcasing Scholl’s skill and artistry.
