Songs of Love and War is a collection of powerful songs by one of opera’s earliest composers, Claudio Monteverdi, presented in the intimate space of one of Brisbane’s most loved restaurants, Caravanserai. Settle back and enjoy an afternoon of delicious food and sublime singing and storytelling.
Performed by Amber Evans, Jessica Low, Sofia Troncoso, Shaun Brown, Nick Kirkup and Timothy Newton whose dress rehearsal for this performance at UAP was a sold out success.
Opera Queensland is proud to present these performances in support of Chrysalis Project’s Your Inner Circle Starts Here – The Arts Against Gendered Violence in partnership with Micah Projects. 10% of total ticket sales will be donated to Micah.
