With family origins from the Saibai Islands and Papua New Guinea, singer-songwriter, Jess Hitchcock is possessed with a voice of rare beauty. In Songs that Made Me, Jess performs a collection of songs that explore and celebrate her impressive rise to fame.
Following her award winning opera performance in The Rabbits, Jess has been touring with Kate Miller-Heidke and in 2019 performed with her at the Eurovision song contest in Israel. In the same year she collaborated with Paul Kelly on his Making Gravy Tour, leading to the release of their track, ‘Everyday My Mother’s Voice’.
From her roots as a jazz singer, Jess takes us on a journey exploring musical theatre and opera, country and folk, jazz and pop. Don’t miss this opportunity to see one of the rising stars of the Australian music scene.
