Recital A Poet’s Love – Sarah Crane, Shaun Brown & Alex Raineri

A Poet’s Love embodies the very essence of romanticism.

In our second recital in collaboration with the 2021 Brisbane Music Festival, join soprano Sarah Crane, baritone Shaun Brown and the Festival’s Artistic Director, Alex Raineri, for A Poet’s Love, a celebration of poetry and song through two seminal song-cycles.

Gustav Mahler’s transcendent Rückert Lieder cast a uniquely magical spell, transporting the audience to an incorporeal, heavenly plane whilst Schumann’s Dichterliebe embodies more earthly sentiments, a collection of songs that speak of dreams and fairy tales.

Presented in partnership with Brisbane Music Festival.

In the event a performance in cancelled due to Covid-19, patrons will be offered a full refund.
