Ten principal artists, a mighty 60-strong Opera Queensland Chorus, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and a choir of young singers from Yeronga State High School are gathering to celebrate 40 years of Opera Queensland and launch our 2021 season.

Hosted by Jason Barry-Smith, the evening features the beautiful voices of José Carbó, Eva Kong, Samuel Piper, Xenia Puskarz Thomas, Hayley Sugars, Sofia Troncoso and Kang Wang working with maestro Dane Lam to bring you some of the greatest music from our favourite operas.

Yeronga State High School students will perform Songs of Belonging, a song by Queensland composer Helen Franzmann created with students from by Yeronga State High School and Opera Queensland.

Artistic Director & CEO, Patrick Nolan, will reveal his program for the 2021 season throughout this very special event and Season 2021 subscriptions will be available to purchase online following the concert.
